Burke Watching is a companion project to Quinn Dannies and Cody Hunter's 2026 zine and forthcoming book A Field Guide to Rhetorical Animals (2027, Parlor Press). Our goal is to make rhetorical theory accessible to a broad audience to equip readers with a set of tools to identify how rhetoric shapes, an can be used to shape, their worlds. We hope that this project of identifying rhetorical phenomena can lead us to imagining new and better strategies for living together.
